Macca la-la

Like the previous poster I was amazed when I heard you were going to favour Macca for one of your sessions but I have to say it works.
His Wings catalogue deserves revisiting and the decision to end with the Fabs' sublime For No One was inspired.
Trying to think of any rival to your suggestion he is the greatest popular songwriter ever and I can't really. Hard to think of who comes close -- Holland-Dozier-Holland?

My first reaction was nooooooooo... not McCartney. I have to say though, I really enjoyed it. This series gets better and better, documenting the music of the 70's generations!
